Summer is here… let’s hear it for the kids!

Posted by on Jul 14 2016

At last Summer is here, well at least that’s what the kids say!  Yes, next week for many schools is the end of this school year.  Now they can let their hair down and enjoy some down time after studying so hard all year.  Well done to them all 🙂

So here at Dandie Crafts we are offering some fun make and takes for the younger kids (as long as they bring an adult with them too).  They start on Thursday 28th July and will run through the school holidays each Thursday between 11am – 1pm.  Come and join Ailsa the ‘ Crafting Elf’ to make some fun 30 minute projects.  Just give us a call or pop in the book your places.

We are very excited as we are launching our very own Exclusive stamp plate on Saturday 23rd July 2016.  We have been very lucky to have worked with a wonderful lady called Suz Humphreys who interpreted our ideas and made them real by designing it for us.  We are also very pleased to have worked together with Crafter’s Companion who produced the stamp for us.  So a huge thank you to both of them. 🙂

Suz will be joining us for the day in store where she will be showing lots of different ways to use the stamps and she likes to think outside the box!  Don’t miss your chance to get lots of ideas….bring a notebook – that way you won’t forget what you have learnt. 🙂

See you soon.

Hello Everyone

Well it’s been a busy old time here at Dandie Crafts.  Lots of full classes and free demos.

You may have been at our recent demo day where Mandy-Jane showed you the fabulous Imagination Crafts Starlight paints.  They work on so many surfaces from card and paper for your cardmaking projects to glass and MDF for your home decor pieces.

Not to worry though if you missed it we have samples in store for you to see and we have also had a top up order of the paints that you scooped up at the demo 🙂

We hope you will join us for our next event in April.  All details can be found on the Events page.

See you soon.

In love with Roses

Posted by on Mar 02 2016

Hello Everyone

We’ve had loads going on over the last couple of weeks.

We had a FREE Demo Day last Saturday which was brilliant and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that attended – it was standing room only!  Mandy-Jane was having way too much fun showing everyone the Honey Doo Crafts stamp designs.  She loves to stamp!

In our last class we made a beautiful easel card project where the class were painting folk roses using PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics.  They loved it and left wanting to do it again (mind you so did Mandy-Jane and she was teaching the class..lol)

There are loads of new goodies in store for you although we have had a lot of sell outs in the new Prima ranges 🙁

Brand new in today we have had the New mould designs from Katy Sue Designs – which includes a handful  that will work brilliantly in your mixed media projects.  What are we saying they will all work in your mixed media projects!!

New class dates are being added to the Events tab as well as demo dates so keep an eye on there.

See you soon.

Hello Everyone

The new Mixed Media evening class is proving to be popular with it being fully booked on the first two of the year. Thank you to those who attended it has been such fun – messy but good!

This month’s project is another little bit of fun using an old mint tin.  We are making a little sort of shrine.  Mandy-Jane is really looking forward to it (then again she always does..lol).

Take a look for yourselves in the Events tab.

Lots of new goodies in store for you to browse through plus lots of new stuff on it’s way too.

We hope to see you soon.
